West Ham cult heroes (who were a bit shit)
A poster on here has just mentioned Samassi Abou - that is a blast from the past. That got me thinking of cult heroes who were a bit shit.

Samassi Abou - not really that good but scored a few goals, had a big barnet and above all, liked for a name which allowed the chant 'Aboooooooooooooo'

Tomas Repka - A cult hero who always gave 100% despite his obvious limitations. Still playing btw aged 40.

'Mad Dog' Martin Allen - Dreadful discipline. Not the most talented but again, always gave it his all.

Can't think of anymore. Please feel free to add....

Martin Allen was a good no nonsense player, except when he got needlessly sent off.

Not shit in my opinion anyway.

Lomas was decent - love to have him in his prime

Alan Taylor - definitely a cult hero for his FA Cup goals. He had a knack for being in the right place at the right time, but technically he wasn't that much of a player.
